I'm Josh Schairbaum. GWP is my engineering practice in San Antonio.
I'm an executive-level practitioner across engineering, architecture, DevOps, and applied AI. I've spent twenty years writing production code and leading engineering, developer to Field CTO. I was an Enterprise Solutions Architect at AWS, and the two principles I worked by there, Learn and Be Curious and Earns Trust, have carried through each GWP engagement since.
I started GWP in 2024 because I want to help build something. I do the diagnosis and the build with you. My own projects run on circuit boards I designed and firmware I wrote.
Our Mission
We remove the friction that caps your growth. Sandgrain Studio spent days creating each product. Now it takes seconds, and orders ship without anyone touching them. Revenue grew 20% last year.
What We Do
I build the software my clients run on. For Sandgrain Studio, a Shopify app that routes each order to whichever print vendor charges least; so far they've saved $23,500. For a 43-brand retail platform, I moved 31 servers and three production databases into Terraform. For a print-on-demand fulfiller, I'm rebuilding their checkout. The first step on anything is a systems review, so we both know what's true before I build.
